Can dogs eat almonds?
Caution
Not toxic, but not a great snack.
Almonds are hard for dogs to digest and can be a choking risk, especially for small dogs. Salted and flavored ones are worse.

How to share almonds safely
Skip them. Plain peanut butter without xylitol is a better nutty treat.
Why?
Almonds aren't poisonous to dogs like macadamias are, but they're high in fat and dogs tend to swallow them whole.
